How to Support & Invigorate the Preceptor Role

Given the current and projected staffing challenges in the perioperative setting, it is critical for us to focus on the important role of the preceptor in the operating room to set the whole team up for success. Those serving as preceptor are pivotal to ensuring new team members are able to learn and assimilate effectively. Unfortunately, many experienced preceptors have shared feelings of burnout in regards to the constant need to precept.

Objectives
