Renae Battié, MN, RN, CNOR, FAAN

Jerry G. Peers Distinguished Service Award

Renae Battié, MN, RN, CNOR, FAAN, joined AORN in 2019 as Vice President of Nursing to lead and manage the division of nursing which includes the Nursing Education, Nursing Practice, and Ambulatory Surgery Departments. In her role, she is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing educational products and services designed to meet the current and future needs of AORN’s members and customers.

Renae’s nursing career spans 40 years with roles as staff nurse, educator and leader. She was most recently division vice-president, perioperative services for CHI Health in Nebraska/Iowa where she was responsible for driving growth and development of perioperative services across 16 hospitals. Over the course of her career, Renae has been highly engaged with AORN on the national level, and served the association as a board member, vice president and as president for the 2015-2016 term.
