Peter Graves is an independent perioperative nursing consultant with 35 years of experience. Peter has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, delivered seminars, webinars, and contributed to chapters in prominent textbooks on topics such as infection control and latex allergy. He has presented at numerous international conferences and expos, including the AORN Expo and Congress, World Perioperative Congress, ANCC Magnet Hospital conference, and others.  

Peter served on several AORN National committees and was elected to the national AORN board of directors. He is currently a member of the AORN Journal review panel. Peter serves as the secretary/treasurer of the CCI Research Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding perioperative nursing research.  

Peter is devoted to spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is also dedicated to assisting his colleagues whenever asked. He enjoys assisting other nursing colleagues in developing their manuscripts, posters, and podium presentations. 

Peter is a highly sought after presenter and actively collaborates with other infection preventionists to prevent SSIs.
