Below are frequently asked questions and answers about Periop Mastery 2.0, AORN's facility education solution to level-set knowledge across your periop team and to efficiently onboard experienced periop RNs and travel nurses.

Periop Mastery 2.0 is intended for perioperative RNs with 1+ year(s) of experience to:
- Continue learning after graduating Periop 101

- Demonstrate competency as an emerging leader
Yes, if a facility purchases Periop Mastery 2.0 seats, an administrator must serve as the point-person between the facility and AORN. This includes using the AORN Facility Agreements Page to invite students to register. At least one administrator from each facility must complete the Admin Guide before students can register.
Yes, the Admin Guide provides information on the theory behind Periop Mastery 2.0, the components of the program, considerations in developing a schedule, and instructions on reports and managing your facility agreement.
Administrators can access the Admin Guide on the AORN Learning Center (ALC) after they register for the course. At least one administrator from each facility must complete the Guide before students can register.
- There are no contact hours associated with completing the Admin Guide.
- Individuals who purchase Periop Mastery 2.0 have one year from the date of purchase to complete the courses.
- Students in facility purchases have two years to complete each course from the date of registration.
- Each course within Periop Mastery 2.0 has its own contact hours. Students must complete all course components and submit a course evaluation to earn the contact hours for that course. Students can print a Certificate of Completion from the AORN Learning Center or from the AORN website. This program is approved for up to 27.3 hours of CE, 25.9 hours of AEUs, and up to 10.9 hours of IPCHs by BASC Provider #0102. To receive your AEU credit, call AORN Experience Services at (800) 755-2676.
- Yes. Administrators receive the entire set of courses and can earn contact hours for completing them. Administrators have access to the courses for the length of their facility agreement.
