Outstanding Volunteer Leadership

Additionally, Dr. Wagner’s policy work includes legislative activism in the Georgia Nurses Association and the Georgia Council of Perioperative Registered Nurses in support of healthcare and nursing legislation. Dr. Wagner is the recipient of the AORN Award for Excellence, the Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Perioperative Nursing Research, and the Outstanding Achievement in Perioperative Academic Nursing Education. She is a charter Fellow of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses and a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
