Surgical bingo is a fun activity that you can play with colleagues, friends, or anyone who loves the wonders of the perioperative environment! It was created so that perioperative nurses can find others who have been in similar situations as them, with the goal of sparking sharing of advice or stories or a much-needed venting session.
Directions:
To play, you must review each square on the bingo card and, if you have personally experienced a situation, mark the square (for example, highlight it, cross it off, or color the box). Mark as many boxes as you can and then review the card see if five of those squares are in a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row to obtain a bingo. Be sure to share and discuss your results with friends or colleagues.
The cards can be edited to mix around the locations of the situations or to change the situations for a second game.
