8 Reasons Why Millennials Will Love AORN Expo

The first time I attended AORN Expo was in Orlando in 2007. I was new to the profession and AORN. The week was a blur of activity. I left feeling energized, connected, and ready to tackle the challenges ahead. I’ve been hooked ever since – returning each year for a super recharge.

I’m eager to spread the word to fellow millennials. Sure, we can learn a lot online these days. But there are some things you just can’t do over TikTok.

Here are some reasons I love AORN Expo and think you will too:

  1. Mentor Relationships

Nurses at AORN Expo actually want to support the young! Connecting with nurses who are at different stages in their careers is one of the conference cornerstones. Perioperative nurses are committed to building the profession by mentoring other nurses to better serve their patients.
