Perioperative Leadership Strategies: COVID-19 Tools

The special report “Perioperative Leadership Strategies: COVID-19” published in the September 2020 issue of the AORN Journal highlights practices that were implemented by individual facilities in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some practices may be inconsistent with evidence-based practice and/or the AORN Guidelines, and may be modified or obsolete by the time of publication. In addition, some practices (eg, N95 and other respirator reprocessing) have been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration for emergency use only in response to the pandemic.

The tools below represent various resources that were created or modified and used by the individual facilities as part of their response to the pandemic and may not be current or generalizable or transferable to settings or populations beyond the specific facility setting. The tools have not been edited or modified by AORN Journal editors.
