Recycle Used Solution Bottles
Another Option for Containing Unruly Cords
At my hospital, we recycle used solution bottles to contain our unruly cords. After we empty and rinse the bottles, we cut off their tops and bottoms and make a slit down the side. We then place the cords through the open bottles and attach them to the side of our OSI table using tape. The bottles are radiolucent, and work great when we need to keep cords away from the bed for C-arm access.
