Advancing Periop Knowledge

The best nurses are committed to advance the care of patients and the nursing profession by advancing their knowledge and competencies throughout their careers. Patients depend on them keeping current on best practices and new technologies. Investing in their success strengthens the entire perioperative community.

Industry partners are advancing the perioperative profession by supporting educational programs like the Nurse Executive Leadership Seminar and clinical workshops. They also support individuals by providing funding for grants and scholarships, and research.

The AORN Foundation is pleased to offer research grant funding to encourage the development of evidence-based care that promotes quality outcomes and incorporates research and evidence-based practice as a foundation for perioperative nursing. The AORN Foundation also offers additional opportunities for industry to support the Foundation and have fun with it. Funds raised through our special events provide support for our many programs throughout the year.
