While the closing date for submissions is currently months away, we want to get on your radar early this year to give you time to prepare and submit your facility’s great work for this prestigious, long-running annual award — now in its 17^th year.

And that’s not all. This year, for the first time, Outpatient Surgery Magazine will honor the winners of last year’s awards at the 2025 AORN Global Surgical Conference & Expo in Boston. If you’ll be at the conference, you’re invited to attend the OR Excellence Awards ceremony. In addition to the awards, this event will provide a great opportunity to network with your peers in ambulatory surgery. It’s also a convenient place to meet the editors of Outpatient Surgery Magazine, who would love to hear what’s on your mind, areas of coverage you’d like to see, Ideas That Work you may have, and articles you would like to submit for possible publication.
