How We Solved Our Scrub Sink Design Problem

We had a scrub sink design problem when we moved into our new OR. The gap between the scrub sinks and the wall where we attached our scrub solution dispensers was wide enough that the scrub solution was dripping onto the floor, creating a potential hazard. Our facilities manager came up with an elegant solution to our problem: He had custom-made brackets fabricated to extend the scrub solution dispensers over the sink. He even had one of the designs incorporate an element of a two-bin Kanban system with a space for an extra scrub solution container in the back of the bracket. Brilliant!
