Store Laryngoscope Blades in Bubble Wrap

We've been using the same video laryngoscope with 3 blades for close to 8 years. The fragile blades cost $5,000 to replace. To protect the tips of the blades in storage, we place them in bubble wrap envelopes, which you can buy at any business supply or shipping store. The envelopes provide a little extra cushion when the blades are kept next to the video laryngoscope on the airway emergency response cart.
