Dr. Carol A. Devlin, a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Future of Nursing Scholar, is a medical science liaison at MiMedx (therapeutic biologics company). Dr. Devlin has a record of high-quality nursing care, leadership, and an emerging research platform in the perioperative arena as a registered nurse first assistant, educator, and nurse scientist. She has taught professional and student audiences throughout her career and developed medical-surgical, transition to practice, and NCLEX preparation courses. She is also a subject matter expert for AORN and the latest version of Rothrock Alexander's Care of the Surgical Patient.
