This presentation offers how-to tips from an in-the-know expert on monitoring supply-side issues, stocking up on necessary items and implementing proactive ordering practices from a diverse group of suppliers — as well as plenty of creative ways to find the supplies you need.

Thomas W. Durick, MD
Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology
Dr. Durick is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He specializes in outpatient anesthesia, neuroanesthesia and ambulatory surgery center administration. Previously, he was the medical director and acting administrator of a busy surgery center in the San Francisco Bay area. He has given multiple presentations about a wide range of topics, including cost containment in the operating room, quality improvement, prevention of OR fires, outpatient anesthesia specialization, prevention of complications in anesthesia and neuromuscular blockades.
