Ideas That Work: Dial-Up Access

Patients Appreciate Free Phone Consults

My partner and I offer free phone consultations for prospective patients to provide them with a timely diagnosis of their health conditions and schedule the treatments they need. That’s especially important when dealing with head and neck cancers, when delays in care could have devastating consequences. Those who are interested in connecting with one of us fill out a form on our facility’s website and we call them back within two business days. So far, the requests have come from people with general ear, nose and throat issues or those with concerns about having cancer. I usually call the individuals at the end of my workday. In about five to 10 minutes, I’m able to answer their  questions and hopefully get them started on the care they need to achieve positive outcomes.
