This comprehensive two-day program covers six learning modules designed to provide the participant a mastery of surgical services management. These subject areas were identified from the evidence gathered in a comprehensive, national survey and include:

1. Professionalism
2. Leadership
3. Communication and Relationship Management
4. Financial Management
5. Surgical Services Management
6. Human Resource Management

This educational activity provided by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) and Competency and Credentialing Institute (CCI).

Overview:

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will hold a Surgical Services Management Certificate and earn 22 contact hours. There are no continuing education requirements. This is an ideal workshop for emerging leaders as this certificate program is the only professional development program of its kind on the market specifically developed for surgical services managers. The program is based on a national job analysis survey of leaders in the role. You won't want to miss it!

ATTENDEE ORIENTATION WEBINAR 

This webinar will provide you with the groundwork for the two-day event including program requirements, an overview of the six program modules, and logistical instructions for attending this seminar. (All participants will be asked to attend a pre-event webinar where CCI will outline the program requirements.  Our goal is to make sure you walk out of the intensive workshop with your Certificate of Mastery in Surgical Services Management.)  

 

Pre-Assessment Test

Prior to attending the event, participants will take an online assessment test and receive a diagnostic report outlining strengths and weaknesses in each of the six subject areas.
