AORN is a member of the Nursing Community, a national forum for professional nursing associations to build consensus and advocate for a wide spectrum of health care and nursing issues. Primarily through the Nursing Community, AORN supports efforts to increase appropriations for Nursing Workforce Development Programs under Title VIII of the Public Health Service Act.
