Reducing Radiological Exposure in the ASC
This tool kit will provide guidance to health care personnel for reducing radiological exposure in the perioperative practice setting in ambulatory surgery centers. These guidelines for radiation safety are based on the principles of time, distance, and shielding. (Lasers, which are recognized to be non-ionizing radiation, are not within the scope of this tool kit.)
