Challenge your chapter and state council
The Foundation Challenge calls on all chapters and state councils to support the Foundation and its programs with a group donation. Last year participants raised more than $20,000. Together we touched more lives and expanded our mission impact to improve patient safety through nurse education. Here are a few of the accomplishments you made possible:
- We prepared the next generation of perioperative nurses by awarding 56 academic scholarships
- We advanced the profession by giving 364 perioperative nurses professional development grants
- We brought education to 10 cities by funding AORN's seminar series and Congress speakers
- We funded learning tools such as webinars, an independent study guide, and a new Periop Mastery Model on DVT
